North Carolina High School Football - New Bern routs South Central

September 29, 2023: New Bern, NC 28562

The New Bern Bears football squad scored 53 points and restricted the visiting South Central Falcons to 6 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside - Jacksonville for a 3A/4A Big Carolina battle on Friday, October 6. New Bern will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 36-6 league loss to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-6.

Coming up next, the Falcons face the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a 3A/4A Big Carolina challenge, on Friday, October 13. South Central will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
