The Polytechnic Parrots football team (Fort Worth, TX), was knocked off 14-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX)

The Steers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Chaparrals come into the 5A-2 Region I District 4 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Wyatt was knocked off by Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 20-6, in a league challenge.

The Parrots now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grapevine for a 5A-2 Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, October 6. Polytechnic will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 43-7 league loss to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.
