    The North Stokes Vikings football team (Danbury, NC), was ripped 56-10 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC)

    The Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the Northwest 1A challenge with a 4-2 record.

    The Vikings now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alleghany for a Northwest 1A challenge on Friday, October 6. North Stokes will meet a Trojans team coming off a 31-14 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
