The Ponchatoula Green Wave football team (Ponchatoula, LA), was beaten 15-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA)
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 5A District 6 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Fontainebleau was beaten by Covington (Covington, LA), 40-14, in a league challenge.
The Green Wave now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mandeville for a 5A District 6 challenge on Thursday, October 5. Ponchatoula will meet a Skippers team coming off a 42-7 league win over Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Skippers record now stands at 3-2.
