Pennsylvania High School Football - Union City held off by Northwestern

September 29, 2023: Albion, PA 16401

In Friday's league game, the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) football team tipped the visiting Union City Bears (Union City, PA), by a final score of 19-13.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Conneaut Area was tipped by Titusville (Titusville, PA), 56-12, in a league game.

The Bears now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a District 10 Region 2 game on Friday, October 13.

Congratulations to #44 Owen Kerns (overall, defensive and special teams) and #39 Skylar Olmstead (offensive) for being selected the Union City Football Players of the Game.
