Pennsylvania High School Football - Penn-Trafford knocks off Norwin

September 29, 2023: North Huntingdon, PA 15642

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) and the host Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), observed Penn-Trafford's football squad thwart Norwin by a count of 56-28.

The Warriors now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Gateway for a WPIAL AAAAA Big East contest on Friday, October 6. Penn-Trafford will play a Gators squad coming off a 63-21 league win over Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Gators record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East contest, on Friday, October 6. Norwin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 45-26 league win over Plum (Pittsburgh, PA).
