California High School Football - West Park overwhelms Oakmont

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) and the host Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), observed West Park's football squad bounce Oakmont by a count of 42-9.

The Panthers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nevada Union for a Foothill Valley contest on Friday, October 6. West Park will play a Miners squad coming off a 25-6 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Miners record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) in a Foothill Valley contest, on Friday, October 6. Oakmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 42-14 league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA).
