Illinois High School Football - Tolono Unity smashes Pontiac

The Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) football routed the visiting Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL), 55-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a Illini Prairie bout, on Friday, October 6. Tolono Unity will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 63-12 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IL).

The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Spartans enter the Illini Prairie bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, St. Joseph-Ogden was overwhelmed by Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 35-21, in a league bout.
