In Friday's league match, the visiting South Kingstown Rebels football squad scored a close 10-6 victory over the Portsmouth Patriots.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a Division II-B match, on Friday, October 6. South Kingstown will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record.
