    In Friday's league match, the host Southeast Guilford Falcons football squad scored a close 10-7 victory over the Ragsdale Tigers.

    In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) in a Metro 4A match, on Friday, October 6. Southeast Guilford will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cowboys enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 38-20 league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

    The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies enter the Metro 4A match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Grimsley held off Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 55-0, in a league match.
