In Friday's league game, the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) football team smashed the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), by a score of 40-8.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes come into the 2A Southeastern game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Fairmont was ripped by Midway (Dunn, NC), 50-22, in a league game.
The Red Devils now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clinton for a 2A Southeastern game on Friday, October 6. Red Springs will battle a Dark Horses team coming off a 71-13 league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 6-0.
