North Carolina High School Football - West Henderson victorious over Smoky Mountain

September 29, 2023: Sylva, NC 28779

The West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) football overcame the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 28-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) in a 3A Mountain 7 bout, on Friday, October 6. West Henderson will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 35-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC).

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers enter the 3A Mountain 7 bout with a 2-4 record.

Congratulations to #2 Malachi Mcneely (overall), #15 Isaiah Mcneely (offensive) and #61 Noah McKnight (defensive) for being selected the Smoky Mountain Football Players of the Game.
