Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 21-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Western Wayne improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mid Valley (Throop, PA) to confront the Spartans in a Lackawanna 2 test on Friday, October 6. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-2. Mid Valley lost 46-6 in their recent league test against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA)
With the loss, West Scranton drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Invaders host Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to confront the Hornets in a Lackawanna 2 test on Friday, October 6. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-4. Honesdale won 48-7 in their recent league test against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA)
