In Friday's league battle, the host Classical Purples soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Mt. Hope Huskies.
The Purples (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels go into the Division 1 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, South Kingstown Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 2-2, in a league battle.
The Huskies (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers go into the Division 1 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Cumberland nipped Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 2-1, in a league battle.
