Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks (Topeka, KS) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS), 1-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool moves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to St. Mary's Academy (St. Marys, KS) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 7-5. St. Mary's Academy won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS)

In their next game, the Saints battle the Heritage Christian Eagles (Topeka, KS) in a Midwest Christian bout, on Tuesday, October 3. Cornerstone Family will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record.
