The Normal Community Ironmen held off the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Ironmen now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a Big Twelve match on Tuesday, October 3. Normal Community will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 7-6.
