The Winooski Spartans held off the host Oxbow Olympians soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's league match.
The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Richford for a Mountain match on Monday, October 2. Winooski will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
