California High School Volleyball - Milpitas over Gilroy

September 29, 2023: Gilroy, CA 95020

Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino match, on Monday, October 2. Milpitas will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Homestead (Cupertino, CA).

With the loss, Gilroy drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to battle the Eagles in a BVAL - West Valley match on Monday, October 2. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 3-5.
