Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), observed Manchester's volleyball team top Matoaca by a count of 3-0.

The Lancers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Hermitage notched a victory over Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowbrook for a Central battle on Tuesday, September 30. Matoaca will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-5.
