The Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA) flag football knocked off the host Wayne Christian Academy Eagle (Jesup, GA), 34-26 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Patriots now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Victory Christian Academy for a Southeastern Christian East outing on Tuesday, September 30. Southside Christian will battle a Soldiers team coming off a 42-6 non-league win over CES Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Soldiers record now stands at 5-5.
The Eagle (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA). The Crusaders enter the Southeastern Christian East game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Faith Baptist Christian Academy notched a victory over Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA), 36-6, in a league outing.
