The Carlsbad Lancers got by the host Poway Titans flag football team by a score of 13-6 in Monday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Carlsbad will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA).
With the defeat, Poway drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Titans host Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA) to meet the Scots in a non-league test on Monday, October 6. The Scots come into the test with a record of 15-3. Vincent Memorial won 40-6 in their recent league test against Central (El Centro, CA)
