In Monday's league outing, the host Eagan Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Eastview Lightning.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN). The Eagles go into the Class AA Section 3 outing with a 1-11 record. In their last outing, Apple Valley by Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Lightning confront the Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, October 1. Eastview will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Lakers come into the test with a 9-5 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN).
