The Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) soccer overwhelmed the host Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA), 8-0 in Monday's league contest.
Next, the Panthers battle the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest, on Wednesday, October 1. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bullpups enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 1-1 league Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA).
The Highlanders (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Spokane, WA). The Titans go into the 3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, University topped Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
