The Portland Highlanders soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Old Lyme Wildcats to 1 in the Highlanders league victory on Monday.
The Highlanders now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Old Saybrook for a Shoreline bout on Thursday, October 2.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Bacon Academy got by Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 7-1, in a non-league bout.
