The Lafayette Commodores football team (Oxford, MS), dropped 22-8 in Monday's non-league bout with the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS)

With the win, Tupelo betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Wave travel to Corinth (Corinth, MS) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

The Commodores now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Pontotoc for a non-league bout on Monday, October 6.
