Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS) and the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), saw Amite County's volleyball squad notch a victory over Port Gibson by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Amite County improves its record to 4-5 on the season.

The Blue Waves now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 30. Port Gibson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
