The Gibault Catholic Hawks edged the host New Athens Yellow Jackets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Roxana for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30.

With the loss, New Athens drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL) to play the Oilers in a non-league outing on Monday, October 13. The Oilers come into the outing with a record of 0-1.
