The Hornets now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Potomac for a Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A bout on Monday, October 6. Fairmont Heights will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to International High School at Langley Park (Bladensburg, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South moves to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD) to face the Tigers in a Class 1A South I contest on Monday, October 6. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 2-0.
