Connecticut High School Soccer - University knocks off Classical Magnet

The University Hawks soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Classical Magnet Gladiators to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now hold a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering for a Capital Region contest on Wednesday, October 1. University will face a Jets team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Jets record now stands at 5-2.
The Gladiators (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Academy of Science and Innovation by Plainville (Plainville, CT), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
