The Baconton Charter Blazers softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Southland Academy Raiders to 6 in the Blazers non-league win on Monday.

The Blazers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelham for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 1. Baconton Charter will confront a Hornets team coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Southland Academy drops to 16-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a GIAA Class A & AA District 3 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Crisp Academy won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Valwood (Valdosta, GA)
