Nebraska High School Softball - Duchesne/Roncalli topped by Douglas County West

September 29, 2025: Omaha, NE

Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) fans went home satisfied Monday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the host Duchesne/Roncalli (Omaha, NE), 14-2 in a non-league battle.

The Falcon now possess a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a C District battle on Tuesday, September 30. Douglas County West will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Douglas County West (Valley, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Duchesne/Roncalli moves to 9-14 on the season. The host Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 13-7. Elkhorn North won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Bennington (Bennington, NE)
