The Lowndes Vikings softball squad scored 6 runs and restricted the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs to 5 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.

Next, the Vikings meet the Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA) in a 6A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 3-19 record after their 12-0 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA).

With the loss, Thomasville moves to 17-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA) to encounter the Bearcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30.
