With the triumph, Mountain View improves its record to 1-15 on the year. The Mountain Lions host Wellington (Wellington, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 4A/3A Longs Peak bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Wellington won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Northridge (Greeley, CO)

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 1. Skyline will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 16-4 league win over Adams City (Commerce City, CO).
