Nebraska High School Softball - Raymond Central held off by Platteview

September 29, 2025: Raymond, NE 68428

In Monday's non-league test, the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) softball squad got by the host Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE), by a tally of 9-8.

The Trojans now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wahoo for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. Platteview will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Blue River (David City, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 15-10.

With the loss, Raymond Central moves to 9-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Freeman (Adams, NE) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 18-11. Freeman won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE)
