The Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) volleyball held off the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a Vermilion Valley match on Tuesday, September 30. Armstrong will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, IN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.

The Bunnies (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets come into the non-league bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Oakwood nipped Milford (Milford, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.
