The Lions now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Concord Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. King's Academy will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Clayton-Bradley Academy (Maryville, TN). The Lions record now stands at 19-7.

With the loss, Clayton-Bradley Academy drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Lions in a D-II A District 1 bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 18-7. Concord Christian won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN)
