In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Webberville Spartans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Genesee Christian Soldiers.
The Spartans (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI). The Wolfpack come into the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Laingsburg edged Perry (Perry, MI), 3-1, in a league test.
The Soldiers now own a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host More Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9.
