The Red Devils (6-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton (Clinton, TN). The Dragons come into the AAA District 3 challenge with a 23-12 record. In their last challenge, Clinton lost by William Blount (Maryville, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 21-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN).
