The Lynden Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 0 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, October 1. Lynden will clash with a Borderites team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Mt. Baker drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Squalicum (Bellingham, WA) to clash with the Storm in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Thursday, October 2. The Storm enter the match with a record of 3-4. Squalicum lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
