Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Taunton bounced by Mansfield

Fans at Monday's league contest between the Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) and the host Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA), observed Mansfield's volleyball team top Taunton by a count of 3-0.

The Hornets (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, MA). The Bulldogs enter the Hockomock contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Canton was knocked off by Franklin (Franklin, MA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milford for a Hockomock battle on Friday, October 3. Taunton will face a Scarlet Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA). The Scarlet Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
