The Menahga Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Pelican Rapids Vikings to 1 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Braves now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bertha-Hewitt for a Park Region game on Thursday, October 2. Menahga will confront a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Bears record now stands at 6-8.

The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy gained a win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (Wheaton, MN), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
