In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Tunkhannock Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pittston Patriots.

The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets go into the Wyoming Valley test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Crestwood achieved victory over Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wyoming Area for a Wyoming Valley test on Wednesday, October 1. Pittston will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
