New Mexico High School Football - Albuquerque Academy overwhelms Hope Christian

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), observed Albuquerque Academy's football squad bounce Hope Christian by a count of 35-0.

The Chargers now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Albuquerque Academy will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 43-0 non-league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Hope Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 54-20 non-league win over Estancia (Estancia, NM).
