The Mt. Abraham Eagles football squad scored 20 points and restricted the host Poultney Blue Devils to 14 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milton for a Division III battle on Saturday, September 10. Mt. Abraham will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 44-8 league win over Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils face the Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT) in a Division III battle, on Saturday, September 10. Poultney will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Olympians enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 26-19 league loss to Mill River (North Clarendon, VT).
