In Saturday's non-league contest, the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Chesapeake will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record.

With the loss, Alexander moves to 0-1 on the year.
