The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) and the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), saw De La Salle's volleyball squad nip Lake Forest by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Meteors host Resurrection (Chicago, IL) to play the Bandits in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 7. The Bandits go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
The Scouts now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Libertyville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 14.
