Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Warren Dragons (Warren, PA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers confront the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Grape Pickers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA).

The Dragons now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Warren will confront a Knights team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
