Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a Class B - North challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Mount Desert Island will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).

The Coyotes now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hermon for a Class B - North challenge on Tuesday, September 13.
