Kennedy Commanders (Denver, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Commanders now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Northfield for a 5A/4A/3A Denver Prep challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Kennedy will battle a Nighthawks squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Lincoln (Denver, CO). The Nighthawks record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Alameda falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Jefferson (Edgewater, CO) to battle the Saints in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 10. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 1-4.
