Illinois High School Volleyball - Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond over Richland County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL) and the host Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL), saw Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's volleyball squad beat Richland County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, IL) to play the Mules in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 3. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Fairfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL)

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Edwards County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 3. Richland County will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
